I walk through my life in constant sorrow, endless darkness as my only friend. Haunting nightmares never leave me alone. This empty road doesn't seem to have an end.
I'm beyond all saving. You're gone. I'm left fading.
I look forward to my imminent death. There is no light in the distance. I wait for my final breath, the end to my posthumous existence.

I'm watching to the endless sea and hear a calling from the deeps. Inviting me to the dark waters to join my long gone forefathers. The gentle waves caress my skin as I hear the sirens quietly sing. I'm falling ever deeper down and life leaves me as I drown.

Darkness swallows everything, decays my heart and soul, withers beggars and every king, blackens the stars that shone.
My desires crumbled down. Life I hoped to cherish, but everything is over now and soon I too will perish.
There is no place to call home. Life has become too much to bear. Nothing left to live for so I will succumb to despair

Icelandic Blackened Funeral Doom. There are many experimental excursions here. It is both extremely dark & oppressive but at the same time it is also uplifting in places. It is an incredibly unique style & not at all an easy listen. However, it is well worth it as it is very rewarding as well! Recommended!

Canadian funeral doom metal! An entire mass for the dead, all in the F-minor key, commonly recognised as the most depressing key of all. If this is not enough for you, it is all sung in latin! This completely blew me over and floored me, getting up again was a hell of a struggle!. The only thing I would maybe advise is not to listen to the entire thing in one go - you may not survive ... Fantastic stuff!
